Guess who's back? Well, technically I never went anywhere. I was just extremely busy planning my wedding, getting married, and teaching/freelancing. Then I left for my honeymoon in Thailand for a few weeks.
The wedding was an absolute blast. I don't know how I pulled it off without a planner, but I must admit I was pretty calm in the planning process (mostly) and extremely happy with how it all turned out. Our wedding took place at Stone Manor Country Club in Frederick, Maryland. I never thought I would get married outside of New York, where I'm from, but the location was so stunning that I knew right away it would be perfect for us. It was actually the first place we looked at. Same thing happened with my dress. It was the first dress I tried on. See below for photos of the big day!
I just sent my final thank you card, so I'm officially free of all wedding duties/distractions. The wedding was a blast and well worth all the effort, but I'm happy to be able to turn my focus back to teaching.
Currently, I have been teaching a yoga sunrise series on the pool roof deck at Equinox Sports Club DC (located in the Ritz Carlton Hotel) and will teach the final class (vinyasa) at 8:30am this coming Saturday, August 20th. If you'd like to be a free guest of mine and you're not a member, please email me through the contact form or directly at email@example.com. I only get one guest pass so it will be first come, first serve :)
In addition to the pop up class this Saturday, I have the honor of teaching a vinyasa yoga class at The Yoga Expo DC at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on that same Saturday, August 20th, at 11:40am in room 201! This is something I am extremely excited about. I will be hanging out at the Bhakti Yoga DC booth all day, so please drop by to say hello! For info on tickets, check out the Yoga Expo website: http://theyogaexpo.org/event-washington-dc.php
I will be taking on two new classes for the fall at Equinox Sports Club in DC. I will also be offering workshops for the end of fall and the New Year in the DMV area. Check out my schedule for my current classes and for the upcoming additions.
Below are some photos from the wedding. A special thank you to Naomi Lynn Photography for photographing my wedding day.
Hope you all enjoyed my post! If there's anything specific you'd like me to write about, or if you have any comments, feel free to message me through my contact form.
Much Love, Cynthia
